For four decades, Floyd has been crunching numbers and building relationships in the construction business. He works collaboratively with architects and engineers to prepare conceptual estimates, as well as design-build and hard-bid proposals. At Shreve Land, Floyd has focused primarily on estimates and competitive bids for commercial, industrial and multifamily residential communities. In this capacity, he secures construction bid documents, prepares quantity takeoffs, estimates labor cost, evaluates subcontractor and supplier quotes and calculates the final bid. Floyd holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University.
